                                                         ADOPTION POLICY

All cats and kittens leave Frisson vaccinated to age, health checked, microchipped, well socialised and with a QFA registered pedigree.

They are also all desexed, unless going to an approved registered breeder. LaPerm kittens must be at least 12 wks old and cost $700, plus any travel expenses.  

As this is still a rare breed, it is necessary to outcross from time to time to extend the gene pool.  Also I will not overbreed my girls, believing that they are entitled to a long good life as someone's beloved pet after all their hard work.

This means I will often have quite young pedigree cats available at a much reduced price. Please don't hesitate to enquire about future possible adoptees.

The beautifully natured domestic cats occasionally used in our breeding programme are also available to loving homes.

Please let me know if you can offer one of these loving cats their permanent home.

Kash is an active exhuberant boy with a lot of affection to give. He loves company, tall cat trees and toys. He will greet you with joy and often reach out to tap your leg as you pass by.

He gets on fine with other cats and should adjust well to a dog as well.

Our gentle boy Arkie has now been retired from stud duties and is ready for his new home. He is not a big cat, is very quiet and easy going and likes to play hairdresser with your hair. He likes other cats and has never lived alone, but as he has been a stud, future cat companions must be desexed and preferably female.

Arkie is a very good show cat, and has resumed showing recently with excellent results.

Beck - pure white Selkirk Rex shorthair with gold eyes                       DOB 04.08

Beck is a very affectionate boy who loves his cuddles but not so much other cats. He is also scared of dogs. His short curly coat and chunky build makes him feel like a cuddly teddy bear.

Although Beck has had some access to our enclosed garden this winter, having white ears and nose means he will now have to remain indoors to avoid sun damage.

He is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and has a registered pedigree. He is also show quality if this is something you are interested in.

Soy

Domestic Medium Hair black and white with green eyes                            DOB 30.03.08

Soy sired one litter for us and has now retired to be a house cat again.

Although he normally has a lot of dignity he is also prone to mad bursts of energy when he will race around for no reason. He loves humans and gets on with other cats and enjoys their company. He has a quiet purr, a small chirrupping voice and a soft coat.

Shag-Pile, a 5yr old purebred LaPerm imported from NZ, chocolate tabby mink and white wth aqua eyes. Shags features in our cats' pedigrees and is the father of both Sueno and Lucy.

These two boys were rescued from Bundaberg and were not in the best of health, but are now ready for a home. This last kitten from the litter must be homed with his dad as Shags has become very dependant on him and would pine on his own. Both are cuddly and playful and although the boy is more outgoing than his dad, they would be better in a quiet environment.

Shags and his boy have now found a loving home at Albany Creek, Brisbane.
